BioProduction in AfricaBioProduction is a small Danish company that develops and produces insects, fungi and bacteria for Integrated Pest Management. New legislation in Europe is increasingly forcing African agro producers to abandon old pesticides and adopt this new method for pest control. International Management Partners assisted BioProduction with the feasibility study identifying and quantifying key opportunities. We produced a business plan, identified Kenyan Dudutech as the preferred potential partner and assisted the two companies in the creation of a joint venture. With the joint venture in place and the right knowledge of opportunities and threats in the market we assist with the implementation process and start up of production. Today Dudutech employees have received extensive training and produces and supplies the Kenyan market with IPM products. BioProduction imports and sells Dudutech’s Kenyan products in Europe. |
