Fan Milk in Nigeria

IMP is currently undertaking a larger CSR project at Fan Milk Internationals subsidiary in Ibadan, Nigeria. The project stretches over a 3 year period and includes a complete upgrade of the company handbook, CSR within supply chain management, training of distribution and sales personnel and solid waste management.

In addition the project deals with the incorporation of HIV/ AIDS policies in all relevant areas of the company. The aim of the project is to create increased CSR awareness amongst employees and to prepare Fan Milk Nigeria for certifications following international standards where applicable.

The IMP designated team of experts work with the relevant Fan Milk staff on-site once every quarter. Primarily using workshops to discuss and redesign procedures and policies within the company the local teams take real ownerships of the projects thereby ensuring implementation with a long-term perspective.

In between the quarterly work-sessions, extensive action plans are being followed to ensure continued and progressive implementation of all part goals.The IMP team continuously collaborates and liaises with the local top management to guarantee that all agreements and expectations are being met. The CSR project is supported under Danidas PPP framework.
