Radisson SAS in Quseir

The Radisson SAS resort in Quseir, Egypt, is a beautifully located resort with a social responsible profile.

International Management Partners (IMP) has since 2004 been involved with development of the Radisson SAS resort in Quseir. IMP has specifically assisted Radisson SAS with training plans for employees, financial analyses and analyses of the environmental aspects of the project. The professional knowledge and experience added by the IMP consultants has helped Radisson SAS ensure a successful implementation.

The resort has since it’s opening received a list of awards, including Hotel of the Year 2007 by the Rezidor Hotel Group.

IMP has additionally assisted Radisson SAS in creating the Reizdor Development Center. The educational centre has been created for the promotion of general education and specific capacity building. The centre offers locals and hotel staff language courses, computer training, health, hygiene and safety training and communication seminars. The objective of the project has been to build staff capacities and contribute to creating opportunities for people in an otherwise economically weak region of Egypt.

The project has been running for 2 years and has already received its first international award. The award was given by the ”Willy Scharnow Foundation”, the leading actor in Germany within the sector.

The award committee emphasised the positive social impact of the project, which amongs other include creating job opportunites for the people in the El Quseir region, reducing unemployment and migration. The project has furthermore according to Raidisson SAS own surveys increased both guest and employee satisfaction.

Since the opening of the Development Center in 2007, more than 800 people has been trained and educated.
